Pears With Linen 1 [ORIGINAL]
"Pears With Linen 1" is an acrylic painting on 18x24 inch stretched canvas.
Artist Notes: I've officially gone down the rabbit hole of fruit still life! What started with a few lemons as an impromtu composition staging has led me to paint many other food compositions with the white linen backdrop. Pears have a naturally "softer" and more delicate skin so it was fun to play with the reflective quality of the outside. Pears are similar in appearance to apples on the inside, yet the slightly softer flesh makes for smaller, more articulated drops in the juice that reflects when the pear is cut. You'll notice the tiny circle drops within the slice. You can also see the thinness of the skin along the sliced edge, helping to portray the slightly softer elements and the delicateness of the skin. This was a fun one to analyze! Canvases come simple with hanging hardware installed so you have the option of hanging the artwork as-is or taking it to get framed.
As with all original artwork, each piece is unique and not without flaws. Photos cannot capture every detail and colors or details might differ slightly from the photographed version.

Original artwork is shipped via Priority Mail to provide proper insurance coverage and tracking. Prints are shipped First Class.
