Artist Notes: The brightness of the forsythia in combination of the fox's deep red fur stood out to me the most in this composition, and I knew this would be the perfect spring painting! The fox's fur actually had many shades of red, brown, black and white in it that I never ended up mixing the same colors again once my original mix was dried/used up. The fur was also different textures depending on the location on the body. This painting was a challenging but fun one for me to work through all of the obstacles!
This piece comes framed without glass.
