Devotion [ORIGINAL]

"Devotion" is an acrylic painting on 18x24 inch stretched canvas. This painting comes with a black floating frame.
 
Artist Notes: Rocky beaches create such great dimension for a painting because of the different colors, textures and sizes. Not only that, but depending on the light source and if it's touching water, the attributes change significantly. Here, you get a mixture of wet and dry rocks so you can see how the reflection of the light hits it differently. Also, because the sun is below the horizon, the rocks' lighting is much more subtle than in my other pieces like "Radiance". This provides a slightly more delicate overall feel to the painting as a whole.
