Damp Morning [ORIGINAL]
"Damp Morning" is an acrylic painting on 8x10 inch stretched canvas. Comes framed with a maple floating frame.
Artist Notes: "Damp Morning" was inspired by a hike I took with my husband close to home. Shady forest creeks give me so much nostalgia, as I had a creek in my backyard growing up. I'd spend hours looking for unique rocks, finding cool insects, and seeing how the water moved around branches I'd stick in the current. This piece brings me back to that time. Thank goodness my husband has a great attitude about going on walks with me, because I end up spending more time than normal examining all of the little "surprises" we find on our hike. We always joke that when I say an hour hike, it's likely going to be longer because of my distractions. But hey, distractions make for great paintings!
